All omega-fatty-acids are essential for humans and can not be formed from humans and animals, so these fatty acids must be ingested with vegetable food. They reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

The most important omega-fatty-acids are oleic acid (omega-9), linoleic acid (omega-6) and u linoleic acid (omega-3).

Linoleic acid is very important in the scope of healthy nutrition. 5-7 grams a day are recommended. Pumpkin Seed Oil has approximately 40% linoleic acid.

Pumpkin Seed Oil

Austrian pumpkin seed oil is an unadulterated edible oil, subject to the regulations of Austrian food industry code, can only be produced through mechanical or physical processes and may only be refined through maturation. Austrian pumpkin seed oil does not contain any other ingredients or additives.

Austrian pumpkin seed oil is produced through a special pressing technique specifically developed in Styria which is even regulated in the strict Austrian food industry code. Chapter B30 literally reads: "Products sold under a name contain the words 'seed' or 'pumpkin seed' always constitute pure pumpkin seed oil produced by first pressing."

The seeds are ground, carefully roasted, and pressed to obtain 100% pure Austrian pumpkin seed oil. Our seed oil obtains the dark green color, the strong nut smell and the typical taste only through the careful roasting process. These seeds grow without hulls naturally.(No GMO)
